La commune relie Lussac aux portes de Montmorillon. L’Eglise Saint-Félix entièrement restaurée à la fin du XIXe siècle a conservé quelques sculptures médiévales. On remarque une belle maison à Laleuf avec un ancien pigeonnier. La ferme de Cherchillé possède une chapelle dédiée à saint Marc et une fontaine dont l’eau « guérissait » les fièvres. Cette vaste commune est parsemée de nombreux châteaux et gentilhommières du XIXe siècle : la Fouchardière, l’Hermentin, la Barre, la Folie, Clossac…

Sillars makes the link between Lussac and the gateway to Montmorillon. The Church of Saint-Félix, which was entirely restored in the late 19th century, has retained some of its original medieval sculptures. Another remarkable sight is a beautiful house in Laleuf with an original pigeon house. The farm of Cherchillé features a chapel dedicated to Saint Marc and a fountain, which was thought to have waters that could heal fevers.
